Junior Membership

What is Junior Membership?

Junior Membership is designed for young descendants of Mayflower passengers who are under the age of 18. This program allows children and teenagers to connect with their Pilgrim heritage and participate in society activities while preparing for full membership.

Junior members receive a certificate and pin, and are welcome to attend most society events with their families.

Eligibility Requirements

• •Age: Must be under 18 years of age
• •Lineage: Must be a proven descendant of a Mayflower passenger through a parent or grandparent who is a current member of the General Society of Mayflower Descendants
• •Sponsor: Must be sponsored by a parent, grandparent, or legal guardian who is a current member in good standing
• •Documentation: Lineage documentation must be on file with the sponsoring member

How to Apply

1. Ensure the sponsoring parent, grandparent, or guardian is a current member in good standing
2. Contact the Colony Membership Chair to request a Junior Membership application
3. Complete the application form with the junior member's information
4. Submit the application along with the required fee
5. Upon approval, the junior member will receive their certificate and pin
